Custom Fields are not showing in Editing Related Contact
March 10, 2011, 07:30:47 pm
Hi all,

I am using Joomla and CiviCRM.

There are contacts registered as a "member" and they are allowed to create other contacts (these are "child of" member contact)

On Dashboard for logged in user (contact) it shows all the related contacts, but when I go to "Edit" it (the link is http://mydomain.com/index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/contact/relatedcontact&action=update&reset=1&cid=96&rcid=88

) it's not showing the "Custom Fields" I used for the "Contacts". It just shows the basic "built-in" fields for Individual Contact.

Can someone please help me here for how I can allow a user to edit their related contact's Custom Fields Values?

Thanks heaps.

u dont need to hack the code in 3.3, there is a hook you can use, check:

Hi Lobo,

Thanks for replying quickly. I have managed to add the hook, but now it's diverting me to the home page instead of going to profile edit page.

Any idea?
