peculiar display of information for contact tabs

hi,
when i open a contact record and click on groups (for example) the information is displayed without any formatting or images: only words appear. this happens for all the tabs, not just the groups tab. i've attached a screen shot of what i see when i click on the groups tab.

we are running 3.4.alpha1 for multi-site.

Hi Cynthia = can't replicate this on our alpha2 single site set up - suggests a theme/css issue to me - what Theme are you running civicrm on?

we have just upgraded to 3.4.beta1 and the issue i reported in this post is no longer present.
