hi,
we are running 3.4.alpha1 for multi-site and i am not sure if these issues are related to that or to core or to both, but i thought i'd start here.

we removed all of the permissions related to deleting contacts for staff who use a "level 2" site. if you do a search, find all contacts and click on "edit", the button to delete the contact is not present. this is as it should be. but if you click on the "more" link to the right of a contact, the choice to delete that contact is listed. this seems to me to be issue #1 as i do not think delete should be on that menu.

if i verify that i want to delete the contact, i get a message saying that the contact has been deleted, but when the screen re-displays the contacts, the contact i just deleted is listed. if i open the record for that contact i see a red line through the contact name.

finally, if i do a search in the parent site the record i deleted in the child site is not listed.

i can't test these issues elsewhere as i cannot find a 3.4.alpha1 demo site and even if i cold, i would need access to the drupal side of things.

any help would be much appreciated.

i'm back again we just upgraded to 3.4.beta3 and i am still able to delete contacts from the "more" menu even though i do not have permission to do so.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? If someone could at least verify whether or not it is an issue with core that would be a big help because I can't get to the drupal permissions on the demo site.
