Custom questions on registration form do not fit very well in form layout
March 12, 2011, 12:11:43 am
I have some custom questions on an event registration form that are lengthy and they do not fit very well in the form layout.  Is there a way to increase the table width or form label width so that these custom questions don't go into three and four lines as in the example attached.

Any help will be appreciated.

Managed to work this one out.  Went to civicrm.css (administrator\components\com_civicrm\civicrm\css\civicrm.css) and changed the value #crm-container .crm-section .label,  to 40%.

How'd you get the form to show the custom data fields? I'm doing everything here, and it's not showing!

Please spell out the steps you have taken to

- create the data field
- create the profile
- display the profile in the Event

Create the profile:

>Administer: Custom Profile: CiviCRM Profile
> Click on "Add Profile"
> create the profile name
> Create profile fields

Create the Data field:

> Administer: Custom Profile: Custom Data
>           Used for: Participants (Event Name): I selected hte specific event
> Add custom field

To display the profile on the event, in the online registration form, I added the profiles in the field that said "Include Profile"

So the above sounds good except you would have needed to make the Data Field before you could include it in the Profile - can you pls confirm you did that - maybe add a screenshot of the Profile 'preview' screen

O So it was an ID10T problem (lol). I put the data fields in participant, and was looking in Individual. How dumb can I get?

So I found it, and everything works well!

**does happy dance**
