Replies not coming through

I have my CiviSMTP up and running. Messages are being sent, opens being tracked, unsubscribes being logged, and bounces being flagged, but replies are not coming through.

I don't get any bounce on my end either - it just appears to be sent, but never arrives. Been a couple of hours now, so I am not sure if it just takes time...

Thanks. Other than this, everything works great.

hi,  we just tested this and the replies are coming through ok for us.

please create a test group and send an email to civismtp.uas.coop so we test the replies from our end.

another thought.  do you have the forward replies setting checked on your civimail?

Haven't received anything, nor has civicrm detected a reply. It has detected that you opened the message.

I do have forward replies checked. Should I?

yes,  you should have "forward replies"  checked. 

[1] what version of CCRM r u running?
[2] does the reply get noted in the mailing report?
[3] are you able to check your apache error logs to see if there is any indication there on what might be going on?

we are definitely sending the reply to your server.  I see the soap call and response in our sent queue.  however, I do not see that the corresponding reply email was actually sent through our mail servers.  so there is a disconnect between the time that we tell your server of the reply and when your server contacts our mail server to forward the reply.

I am running CCRM 3.3.5.

It does not get noted in the mailing report. Opens, and click throughs do, but not replies.

I probably can check my apache error log, but I am not quite sure how (or what that is) yet. I will look into it, but if you have any pointers on that it would be great.

Hi.  I have tested all I can and there are no errors on our end.

For some reason your CCRM installation does not forward the reply.  All communications between our servers is successful with no errors.  The next step would be for you to hire a consultant to be sure that your Civimail is configured correctly.

If you cannot get it sorted on your end, we can cancel the account and refund your first months payment.

I am sorry there is nothing more we can do.  :(
