Navigation Menu too empty for a restricted user
March 13, 2011, 08:47:48 am
Hi,

Creating a user that has access to civicrm, but doesn't have access to all contacts (pretty limited profile).

It doesn't have the search menu,  the autocomplete search....

In only has "home", administer/configure and help

Any idea of what permission I should give it ? Looking at the navigation configuration (as admin) it doesn't need to seem to need any special right for the search menu for instance.

for this case, where they only access civicrm via a limited profile, i think creating an entry in the drupal menu to expose it to the user is the easiest (and also the most flexible one). I dont think the civi nav menu can do this very easily
