Insert Tokens not working

When I attempt to use "Insert Tokens" in Civimal I get:
Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... Using jquery 1.8.5/Civicrm 3.3.3/Joomla 1.5.7

I've seen posting but no resolution for people encountering the issue.  Any thoughts?
