Korean translation?
March 16, 2011, 12:09:58 pm
Hi all

the Korean branch of our organisation is looking for a CRM solution.... we are using CiviCRM in many other places but it doesn't appear to have a Korean translation... am I correct?

If we were to attempt a Korean translation, what would be the best way of tackling it? We would want to get going with the most-used functionality, and add other modules as/when needed.

Indeed, the Korean translation is missing, and your help would be most appreciated!

Our general translation resources are gathered around CiviCRM at Transifex – you need to create a Korean translation team and then start translating, ideally starting with the common-base resources (strings from the CiviCRM core).

If you can wait till mid-next-week, we’ll be rolling a somewhat friendlier translating solution which won’t have the 3.2/3.3 CiviCRM version split, but instead cover both 3.3 and the upcoming 3.4/4.0 releases.
If you found the above helpful, please consider helping us in return – you can even steer CiviCRM’s future and help us extend CiviCRM in ways useful to you.
