Installed but no /civicrm
March 22, 2011, 11:00:39 am
Went through the install process, latest version of civicrm (3.3.5) on a D6 site. I get to the page that says it's installed. But clicking to any of the pages (check configuration or to /civicrm I get a file not found. There are CiviCRM blocks in the blocks list. So where the heck is civicrm? ???

Instead of /civicrm try /?q=civicrm

If that works, then you don't have Clean URLs.

No, that's not this issue. This is a longstanding drupal site with clean urls. Just trying to add civicrm to it. Trying /?q=civicrm just redirects to /civicrm which is not found.

Do you perhaps have a directory in your root called civicrm?

Is the not found page a Drupal page or an Apache page?

No. No civicrm directory in root. it's a drupal not found page.

I really don't know. It sounds like maybe you have another module which is conflicting with CiviCRM, but it's hard to say.

I would suggest standard debugging procedures, including clear all caches, deactivate and then reactivate CiviCRM from the modules page (this should rebuild the CiviCRM menu items in Drupal).

Beyond that, I don't have any other ideas offhand. :(

Gosh I feel silly. Flushing caches did it. I need to have a checklist!  :D Thanks!
