optOutUrl to use a different domain

Hi

We are new to CiviCRM and are half way through doing a full implementation but want to start using CiviMail now.

Our problem is that Joomla and CiviCRM have been set up by the hosting company to run on the live domain which as yet the web site has not been integrated into Joomla/CiviCRM.

We also have a test domain ie hf.test.com pointing to the same installation and i was wondering if it is possible to get the optOutUrl pointing to this domain instead of the live one so that we can handle Opt outs etc.

i dont think this is possible out of the box. u'll need to modify the verp construction code etc to fix the urls
