How does CiviPetition track who has signed?

Hi,

I seem to have the same underlying problem as gandhiano at http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,19114.0.html

My problem is that (since the workflow was not completed) the system thinks it has sent me a confirmation email. Even though I've deleted the Petition Activity, and the entry in civicrm_cache, the system will not let me sign the Petition again. How does CiviCRM track that I've already signed the Petition?

D'oh!

I cleared my browser cache and the 'you have already signed this petition' message disappeared.

Yeah,
Petition uses cookies to check duplicate signed!
So clearing browsers cookie will work :)
