How do soft credits impact the totals in CiviReport?
March 24, 2011, 08:45:23 am
I've been looking everywhere for info on using soft credits so that, in particular, I can credit households for donations made by the individuals in the household.  But part of what I need to know on that is how they impact the reports in CiviReport.  So I guess my question is this... if a contact has a bunch of soft credit, is that reflected in the donation totals produced by CiviReport?  Or does CiviReport only look at hard credits?

Thanks!

I believe it only looks at hard credits.  You can find out for sure by double checking this using your data and running actual report.
