[Solved] Call to undefined function date_parse() in Utils/Date.php on line 252
March 29, 2011, 02:03:09 am
Hello all,

I am in weird situation. The CiviCRM was working fine earlier. I moved the installation to the new dedicated server and it loads the home page fine, but going to view the event, it displays the below error;

Fatal error: Call to undefined function date_parse() in ....... CRM/Utils/Date.php on line 252

Can anyone please advise me why it's happening so?

Joomla - PHP version is 5.1.6
CiviCRM version 3.3.beta2

Thank you.

Seems odd. That PHP version should support date_parse. Are you certain of the PHP version?

I would make a simple PHP file to test that date_parse works and if not, I would suggest you ask your host why not.

Hi Hershel,

Thanks for heading up. Eventually, I upgraded my PHP version 5.2.10 and it fixed all the problems.

Cheers!!
