Custom fields and message templates

Having an odd issue message templates. I have a set of custom fields in a profile, and some of the fields are coming through to the receipt, and others aren't. Suggestions for why this might be? Most are checkboxes, but one of the checkboxes is coming through fine.

I haven't made any modifications to the message template for CiviContribute receipts.
