hi,
we just upgraded our multi-sites to 3.4.beta1 and I have encountered the following issue:

i created a new sub-group called "san diego peace" and clicked on save. i then edited the settings for the group to make it a mailing list group and when i clicked on save, i received the following message "Please correct the following errors in the form fields below:* Group 'San Diego peace & justice' already exists".

I am able to save the group with a new name e.g. san diego peace2 but if i try to edit the settings for that groups the same ting happens. so basically you have to keep creating the same groups with a different name.

the above happens regardless of permission level: even as a site admin i encounter the same issue.

as i am unable to replicate this on the 3.4 demo i believe it is related to the multi-site installation.

can someone help with this?
