I am looking for a way to save one more step on adding contacts.   Here is the use case:  When adding a contact that shares an address with the household and there is a membership type with auto-assignment that includes household relationship types, the membership should automatically be assigned to the contact when the household address is shared.   

With 3.3.5, we get half way there.   When a one adds a contact with a shared address of a household, there is an automatic relationship with the household created.   Once this is done, it is possible today to manually change the relationship with the household and turn on the option to allow the household to update the contact.   This establishes the membership for the contact.    As a technical solution to the use case automating the auto-assignment of membership, there could be a sub-option to sharing an address that turns on one or both of the update allowed directions.
