Alphabet filter not functioning properly

hey folks,

not sure if this happens elsewhere in civicrm, but i created an event on the drupal demo site called: "what is wrong with kansas" screening

an event that starts with a quote shows up as a " in the alphabet filter. that quote is a link but does not take you to the item. instead you get a full listing.

i think this is a bug...
