Installed Civic CRM 3.3, How to update my 3.1 schema?
April 03, 2011, 03:32:11 pm
We have a WAMP server running PHP 5.2/MySQL 5, Civicrm 3.1 & Drupal 6.

We want to move to a MAMP server running PHP 5.3.4/ Mysql 5, Civicrm 3.3 & Drupal 6.

I got drupal moved over no problem. I moved the Civicrm 3.1 database over no problem. I installed Civicrm 3.3 and pointed it at the 3.1 database. Everything seemed to work until I tried to look up a contact, at which point I got an unrecoverable error complaining that civicrm_contact.is_deleted is not a valid field.

So it appears as though I currently have a Civicrm 3.3 install pointing at a 3.1 database. How do I update the 3.1 schema to 3.3?

Thanks. Is there a way to tell if my schema was actually updated or not?

yes, load up civicrm/upgrade?reset=1 and it will tell you.
