There doesn't seem to be an obvious way to view which event participants a contribution applies to when someone has bought multiple tickets for an event.

anyone know how we can do this? or is there some new functionality / workflow that needs to be developed.

i suspect you can do this via the hook_civicrm_pageRun and track any participants that were part of this contribution (following the trail from contrib id etc)

Michael - I'm thinking that the "Additional Participants" purchased by the participant who bought the "tickets" are listed when you view the main participant's record (participant/view). This screen also embed the contribution record.
