Modifying user password
April 11, 2011, 07:59:15 pm
Hello folks,

I am wondering if there is any way to include password field in the profile to allow users to update their password in case.

I have configured the Contribution with basic details in profile and force a user to sign up at the time of contribution. It works fine. What can I do to allow registered users to edit their login details?

Thank you.

Are you talking about the Drupal user password, in which case don't you just give them link to their 'my account'

Hi Petendnz,

It's Joomla installation.

ah - i meant on your Forum Profile there is a place to say what CMS etc you are using - looking under my photo you will see what i mean - if you put joomla and your civicrm version then people like me won't jump to wrong conclusions

I don't follow - i see you have updated your CiviCRM Forum  Profile so we can all see you are using Joomla - in terms of how you deal with your original question about joomla passwords - not a clue
