We are seeing an issue when a user subscribes to a mailing group and replies to the email that they are not opted-in, if they confirm by clicking the link e.g.

http://my_domain/civicrm/mailing/confirm?reset=1&cid=59921&sid=77&h=7eaea4be225243bd

They are.

The email reply is picked up and moved to Maildir/.INBOX.CiviMail.processed

When the CiviMailProcessor.php script is run.

Any helpful way in debugging this? CiviCRM-3.3.5

This issue is fixed by applying the following patch.
