bootstrap.inc not found joomla installs
April 15, 2011, 09:15:04 am
I'm getting an error when using the ALT Joomla install file (on Joomla 1.5):

PHP Fatal error:  require_once(): Failed opening required '/path_to_site/administrator/includes/bootstrap.inc'

This bootstrap.inc file appears in Drupal installs but I don't think I've ever seen it in Joomla.

I'd also not expect to find it in administrator/includes on a joomla site  - this should only be for Joomla core files shouldn't it?

Just wondering if something has gone wrong with the Joomla-alt install package?

Hi
Panic over. I discovered a rogue drupal index.php file (from another site) in the server /tmp folder that was messing it up.
Quite why it was loading it from the /tmp folder I don't know!
