White Screen of Death After Installation

I just installed CiviCRM 4 with a clean Drupal 7 installation, and once I go to access the CiviCRM dashboard, I get a white screen. I have this installed locally on MAMP. I have MySQL and Apache tuned to handle some large Drupal sites, so I don't think it is a resource allocation.

Is anyone else having this issue?

check your error logs. they have been other forum reports about a MAMP issue which we have not yet tracked down

I am having a similar problem.

I have just successfully clean-installed the new civicrm 3.40 on drupal 6.20, running under apache with fastcgi and memcache. Any requests to example.com/civicrm are met with a completely blank page, and apache's error log is blank.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same problem - new Drupal 7 install under MAMP and most of CiviCRM 4 doesn't appear in the interface (ie there's no menu link) - tho I can install the other Civi modules and in the configuration screen it lets me configure CiviMember Roles Sync and CiviGroup Roles Sync, but no other part of Civi.

Can't see anything in the Apache error logs relating to it either.

Have tried with Joomla 1.6 under MAMP and it works well.

Apache 2.0.63
MySQL 5.1.44
PHP 5.3.2

PHP memory is set to 32mb

I would increase that limit to at least 128mb and see if that helps.

Have just increased and that doesn't make any difference unfortunately (unless I need to reinstall, with it at the higher memory setting?).

You just need to restart Apache. Can you check your Apache and PHP log settings and make sure that both are set to store error logs?

I did reset MAMP and Drupal showed the 128mb limit. I think the logs are enabled as there are errors from other local sites, at least for Apache.

Sorry, I've been away from my computer with MAMP on it to try this again. While the Apache log was empty, the PHP log has the following whenever I load the civicrm config page:

I'll second the fix.  Had the same path problem as Nicol with no apparent path problems.  Switched from xcache to e-accelerate (or something) in the MAMP preferences.... and Presto!  Magic fix.
