Importing Phone Numbers
April 25, 2011, 11:41:21 am
When importing phone numbers even though CSV is set to import phone # then Fax # it still sets Fax # as Primary Contact.  I believe this may be an import bug.  Importing without Fax # yields Primary being assigned correctly.  Wondering if there is way to batch update all contacts to set Main phone to Primary. I.E. change radio button in edit mode to Main Phone instead of Main Fax.

I believe that I have discovered the problem.  The last import using update method will flag value as primary.  For instance with phone numbers and addresses I import the primary sets first and then the second sets using update when the type is changed from Main to Other and the second import flags as primary.  I believe this is a bug.  Can a Moderator offer some input to this please!!!!!!!!!! :o

The below does sound like a bug.

can you reproduce this issue on our demo server using small test import files on our demo server. If so, please file an issue and attach the test files.

thanx
