Surveys - where are the results?
April 25, 2011, 06:55:26 pm
I'm finding it hard to find out the aggregate results of a survey - I can see a detail report where you can get the ... er .. detailed results, but not a report where I can see a summary of the outcome - what am I missing?

Try using the activity reports for your survey (its not an aggregate report) but you can get most of what you want via those reports

we have not yet written any survey specific reports as yet (no plans in the short term either)

We did a very custom report/search (not sure which one) that was aggregating both per status and based on the values of custom fields.

This being said now, might be more tempted to write an API summary that wraps the sql query and use a smarty template to display it with https://github.com/tttp/civiview
