Smarty Error When Making Contributions

We're running into a Smarty error when processing credit card contributions in the CiviCRM back end on behalf of donors. After enterring all of the credit card information and submitting it the first time (we don't make it to the confirmation screen), we receive this error.

Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "CRMhttp://www.predisan.org/commonhttp://www.predisan.org/fatal.tpl" in /home/predisan/public_html/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/packages/Smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1093

What could be causing this.

Relavent Installation Information:
CiviCRM: 3.3.6
Joomla: 1.5.23
