Unable to save changes in configuration

Hi,

I am running CiviCRM 4.0 on Joomla 1.6 and hosted on Servage.net.

I recently puchased SSL from Servage.net. Post activating that,  I am unable to save the changed settings on the Global Settings page.
Even after typing in new entries and saving it, the page still goes to showing the default entries.

Was wondering, where the problem is. Will be glad for the help.

Try the page without https. If it works, then ask your host what the problem is.

If you can't access the site without https, then also ask your host why not.
