Menu link to CiviCRM Dashboard broken? Brand New Drupal 6.20/Civi 3.4 install

Civi installed and configured correctly (on brand new blank D 6.20 install). After admin login on Drupal I can see the "CiviCRM" link in menu. But when I click it?

Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving: example.cxm/?q=civicrm/dashboard. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

Here are some suggestions:

HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.


parameters
CiviCRM version:3.4
CMS version:Drupal 6.20 (core install. No contrib modules added)
MySQL version:5.5.9
PHP version:5.3.5

I think PHP issue, am I right?

A 500 error can be a CPU timeout or RAM overload actually. Best is if you can your Apache error logs and find the error there.
