When creating an HTML snippet of foreign Countries or states the HTML snippet created will not display special characters.
I saw the post for the issues with the PDF and wondered if this could be a similar issue or if some additional changes could be made to generate special character codes.

Can you provide an example of what you mean by ‘the HTML snippet created will not display special characters’? Are the non-A-Z characters mangled or not shown at all? If mangled – in what way?

(I’m suspecting you’re trying to embed UTF-8 strings in a non-UTF-8 page, but I need the above to confirm.)

We tested on a newer version of CIVICRM than we are running ( we are running 3.3.1) so I think it will be solved when we upgrade.
