Merge and goto next pair button sends user to the merged contact's page
May 12, 2011, 06:55:50 am
'Merge and goto next pair' button on 'find and merge duplicate contacts' page sends user to the merged contact's page.

Also whilst it merges the data, it does not delete the duplicate contact.

This is replicable on the 3.4 demo site (I've put a bunch of duplicates in to test).

I've looked through the issues in the tracker and run searches on the forum and couldn't find this issue but I wanted to check that this is actually a bug before I submit an issue.

Both of thes issues are actual bugs. One has already been reported and fixed for 3.4.2 (doesn't delete dupe):
http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-8059

I've posted an issue for 3.4.2 to fix the Goto Next Pair button:
http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-8111
