The Janrain Engage module is a slick way to allow logins with Facebook, Twitter, and a dozen other support services. Once a user connects with these services, they can like, tweet, or whatever comes next without leaving your site. Unfortunately, when CiviCRM requires fields the account creation process gets hung up. Since the Jainrain module supports field mapping, I started refactoring the code for Profile2 support into a function that would work for CiviCRM.

Looking for someone who's more familiar with the CiviCRM side of the things to help finish this patch.

hey krenyen:

ping us on IRC for specific questions. Between the integration code for CiviCRM + WebForm and CiviCRM API v3, i suspect we can add contact/custom fields to the janrain module fairly easily. Might want to check the civicrm webform integration for some clues/ideas

any update on this - and does this relate to the Drupal module Profile2 or not? i see profile2 in the code on that drupal post but unclear
