Changin Case Activity name

hi, i wanted to change name of the the Activity used in the case. i went to CiviCRM › Administer CiviCRM › Option Groups > Activity Type Options and edit the activity. than i went to custom templates / CRM/Case/xml/configuration and edited xml files. i removed templates_c/*

new name shows up in advanced search but does not show up as option New Activity select activity type. it disappeared all together...  help ???

i went to mysql to see how does it look there. and i saw that name field in civicrm_option_value table was not changed to the new value. just the label field was. so i changed manually name to same value as label. and of course the items started to appear ok in case screen.

i am not sure is this an error that should be reported...

Might be worth to report it, at worst it will be punted down to one of the future versions, but it will be noted.
