Financial Tokens?

I am somewhat surprised to find that there are no tokens referring to Contribution type fields, like Amount of last payment or Date of Last Payment. Is this in the pipeline or is it simply impossible or ??

You can do this via token hooks, check:

http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC40/CiviCRM+hook+specification#CiviCRMhookspecification-hookcivicrmtokens

If you do so please share your code so others can benefit

One nice extension would be to allow token to have parameters, so u can request the total contributed for a given date range etc
