Event Income Report Revenue

How revenue is calculated in Income Report? I am little confused about that. If someone can help me to find the exact code that generates it & how & where?
What I have to do show the calculated revenue on event dashboard along with events ? If it is stored in any table with details with specific role revenue & total revenue etc. ?
[ I tried on irc though but people seems little busy over there. :-) ]
