Hi there,

I just have a rather simple problem that I was hoping I could get assistance with.

I have a bunch of contacts of lets say membership type: Standard: Member, and membership status: Full Member.

I have created a profile called "Membership Status Update" and added two fields (Membership -> Membership Type and Membership -> Membership status) to this profile.

I then find my contacts and select one while checking the batch update via profile. I then see my created profile "Membership Status Update"

On the next screen there are two blank fields and I enter for:
a) Membership Status: Standard: Member
b) Membership Type: Deceased

I then click update and the next message I get is saved.

I go back to my contacts and nothing has been changed. I was wondering if I am missing something.

I have updated to civicrm 3.4.1 and I now see the select lists for each field but still membership type and status rules can never be changed.

I noticed that another person had the same type of problem at: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,19921.msg83110.html

Any help would be greatly appreciated
