Receive date field while importing contributions
May 18, 2011, 12:13:24 am
Hi!

In what format should the data that is mapped to the 'Receive Date' field be? Because I'm getting an 'Invalid value for field(s)' error!

I use Excel to configure my CSV file date formats before import.

I choose the format that looks like this MM/DD/YY which translates to 04/09/11

This format is supported well by CiviCRM during the import, it is the 2nd format on the date format list in the Civi import page.

I always have good luck with this approach.
