Sign Up to Newsletter - Not Adding to DB or eMail Confirmation
May 19, 2011, 08:30:51 am
On request from my client, their site (using CiviCRM 3.0.4) was moved to their own ISP.  I made all changes to the DB and configuration files to get CiviCRM working again, or at least I thought I had, however, it has come to light that newsletter signups and contributions pages do not work in the front end.  They appear to be working in the back end test mode but not from front end... could I have missed some configuration setting?

Note - when I'm logged into the back end and try to test the front end, I get the following error message

    unrecoverable error

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.

    Could not find valid Key

I think this is because I am using jSecure to protect my admin portal which requires a secret key to be appended to the administrator url.  The page following hitting the sumbit button appears to be... my domain followed by /administrator/index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/contribute/transact&

Website is c4ca.org - apparently I'm not allowed by the forum to post external links

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.  BTW - I know my CiviCRM is out of date but my client does not have the budget to go through an upgrade and as far as I'm aware this function was working prior to the migration.

Pretty sure I followed ALL the steps as I couldn't get anything Civi working - pages would crash.  After following those steps everything seemed to be working including CiviMAIL but it now appears that new members aren't being registered to any profiles nor are any confirmation emails being sent etc.  Is there a separate setting somewhere that controls this part of the CiviCRM?

Thanks for your help.
