One of parameters (value: ) is not of the type Integer
May 21, 2011, 05:32:35 pm
OK, I installed a fresh Drupal and then installed CiviCRM 3.4.1.  I needed to migrate my old DB data over to the new install so I dropped all the tables from the fresh Civi install and imported the old tables (the old tables was a version 3.x). I then ran the upgrade script which completed without any errors.

However, now when I go into Civi and try to View a Contact I get this error.

warning: htmlentities() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/myusername/saintfrancisocc.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Utils/Type.php on line 267.

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.

I've searched the forums and maybe I'm not searching with the right keywords but I don't find anything useful. Any ideas?

What was your old CiviCRM version? Do you get this error when viewing any contact? What about other pages? any other errors?

No other errors that I can find as of yet. Yes it happens on EVERY contact.

I can Edit a contact and when I save it goes back to try to view it and gets this same error. My previous Civicrm version was 3.3.5

Figured out what it was. I had some custom templates for the profile view that was causing it. Removed those and it works.

Hi Naveen.

Did your contribution page work before? If so, did something change?

Another idea would be to consider upgrading to CiviCRM 3.4.8, as that is the latest stable version.

Hi Hershel,
                  My Contribution Page worked before on client old host . As I shifted the client site to another host then this error occurs. I can't upgrade civicrm because it is live site and I need to first make it work as earlier then only I can think to upgrade. Any other way to solve this problem as I am in big trouble.

Can you ask your host for help? Perhaps it's a PHP or MySQL version issue or perhaps the database migration was not done properly. It's hard to say but it seems clear that the issue is due to the migration.

If your host can't help, you could consider returning to your old host or finding a new host who can support CiviCRM.

I was encountering this problem today, I tracked it down to an issue with CiviGroup Roles Sync.  As soon as I disabled that module the error was gone. Drupal 7 / CiviCRM 4.0.8

Had the same problem on Drupal 7 / CiviCRM 4.0.8 . Fixed by changing module weight:

Code: [Select]
mysql> select name, filename, status, weight from system where type = 'module' and name like 'civi%' and status = 1;
+---------------------+----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+--------+--------+
| name                | filename                                                                                           | status | weight |
+---------------------+----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+--------+--------+
| civicrm_group_roles | sites/all/modules/civicrm/drupal/modules/civicrm_group_roles/civicrm_group_roles.module            |      1 |      0 |
| civicrm             | sites/all/modules/civicrm/drupal/civicrm.module                                                    |      1 |    100 |
+---------------------+----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+--------+--------+

mysql> update system set weight = 101 where type = 'module' and name = 'civicrm_group_roles';
Query OK, 1 row affected (0.01 sec)
