What's the appropriate channel to communicate error messages and bugs and such?

For instance, I just received the message:

Notice: Undefined index: url in CRM_Core_BAO_UFGroup::setProfileDefaults() (line 1952 of /home/cdmpdev/public_html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Core/BAO/UFGroup.php).

First, attempt to recreate the bug on the demo site.  http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/  This is a step I sometimes forget myself.  If you can do this, and type of a brief description of how you arrived at the error, you can post a bug on the issue tracker.

Note that the issue tracker requires an account, so you must register.  Then click Create a new issue in project CiviCRM

Try CiviTeacher: the online video tutorial CiviCRM learning library.

Stoob is correct, but the URL for Drupal  is http://d7.sandbox.civicrm.org/

Hey thanks! This is helpful. Just want to make sure I communicate bugs I run into so they can be addressed effectively.
