Greetings,

I have created and recreated my first CiviEvents Event, and no matter what date I enter, it always defaults to Dec 31, 1969, and even though I go in to manage the event & physically change the date, it is never actually changed.

Any troubleshooting ideas?

Go to Administer > Configure > Global Settings > Date Formats

Change the Date Input Fields to a different format e,g, dd-mm-yyyy

I had this issue where all dates defaulted to 1st Jan 1970 and changing the date format seemed to fix this.
