Membership Type showing up as wrong membership on receipt only

After upgrading to civicrm 4.0.1 the receipts that I get copied on when a member renews their membership shows the membership type on all receipts as "Standard Membership" regardless of what type they are renewing.

When I pull up the members record, the actual record shows the correct membership type of "Senior Membership" or "Student Membership" but their receipts all say "Standard Membership" but then displays the correct dues of $15.00 for Senior or Student compared to the $20 for Standard.

Any suggestions?

Hi

At a quick guess, take a look at your System Template Messages for the online Membership one (or are you talking backend memberships) - have they been modified - if so take a look at the default one and see if there is a token that has been replaced in your modified version.
Also compare it to the Sys Tpl Message on Demo. You will find them under Admin > Configure

But I am taking it that you do have a 'Standard Membership' type so this is being inserted via the token so don't understand why your other memberships are not similiarly being inserted

Figured it out. After the upgrade this started happening. Here's how I fixed it.

I copied the code out of both the Text area and HTML area into my editor.
Then I reverted back to default for receipt.
Test it out, correct membership value came back.
Then I pasted the Text area and HTML I had previously copied back in and saved.
Tested it out and this time it worked.
