Where do the New Household fields come from?
May 30, 2011, 09:28:33 pm
We just upgraded to 3.3.6. When creating a new Household from within a contact we use this method:

Click on Summary – edit – address
Click on share address with and choose the second box, create new contact.
Click on the drop down on that and go new household
Enter name of household and an address in a box that pops up.

THis gives us these fields: Household name, Street address (Home), City (Home), Postal Code (Home), Country (Home), State (Home)

The trouble is that there needs to be another field - we would like Supplemental Address 1 used as well as it is used for most addresses.

The New Household profile only has name and email. How do I alter these fields?

Thanks for any help

I am a bit confused about what you need? Do you want the supplemental address fields or do you need the data in the profile?

You can modify the profile New household and add the fields you want

Thanks for the reply. The New Household profile did not have these fields in it, which is why I was asking how to edit the fields.

See attachments for how the profile is set  up, and the resulting form for creating a new household from within a contact's address edit.

You can see that Street address is now listed twice, once from the Profile and once from where???? I am asking where please.
