Sharing names message even when disabled

Hello,

This is strange - I just noticed all my events are now stating 'First and last name will be shared with other visitors to the site.'  I haven't made any changes to civiCRM.  I went in and checked the settings and participant listing is set to 'disabled'.

Bug?

What version of CiviCRM do you have? And is it Joomla or Drupal?
