Changing membership type - erroneous processing
June 10, 2011, 09:20:17 pm
When renewing a membership it is now possible to change the membership type.  When the renewal is completed the the membership type is not changed and remains as it was before the renewal.  I don't think this is the intended behaviour.  Then if the membership record is edited and the membership type changed without changing any other fields an error is displayed to say that the end date must be equal to or greater than the start date.  This message apperas even though the end is (in my case) greater than the start date.  If the end date is reentered with the same value that is displayed the error no longer displays.

No it was not erroneous. Why on gods green earth would you want to allow someone with a paid for $24 regular membership to choose the FREE student membership is beyond me. Is there no setting that turns this nice "fix" back the way it was? I don't even want to see the types and amounts. I just want the existing type renewed. Anyone know how?
