update activites using batch profiles

Hi
I have individuals who I want to update an activity status on. I would like to do it via the batch update via profile.

I have created the profile but when I try to use it it says

"You cannot select mix profile for batch update."

Is it possible to do this? I have searched this forum and googled but I am not sure.
