Api Explorer and Generator doesn't work (Drupal 7.2, Civicrm 4.2)

Hello,

I try to hack civi to let people add option Values to the civicrm_option_value table. I'm succsesfull in writing directly to the table, but I would rather use the Api.

The problem is, I can't even really try it out because the API Explorer/Generator doesn't work. Neither in my install (Drupal 7.2 / Civicrm 4.2) or the Demo: /civicrm/ajax/doc/api#explorer

I searched a lot and found this patch: CRM-8233 - sadly it didn't work.

Could someone fix the Explorer on the Demo installation? I'm sure I'm not the only one missing this nice feature.  :)

you can also find syntax in the examples directory (http://svn.civicrm.org/civicrm/branches/v3.4/api/v3/examples) - although there is only a 'get' example for OptionValue

Alex, can you give more specifics on what doesn't work on the demo and what config you have ?
