Hi Everyone

We have now implemented CiviCRM and its all going great!

one of my users has pointed out that we need to be able to soft credit up to 20 people for certain events.

Scenario: we have an event were people work in a team to raise sponsorship, they all put the money together and then one person bring it in. We want to put the money onto the record of the person who is "team captain" and then soft credit to the rest of the people that have helped.

Is this doable?

You can add contribution records for "team captain" and select appropriate person for Soft Credit.

I think using PCP would be good option for you use case.

Thanks for the info, so the PCP would be the only way to soft credit to more than one person? or is there something i can do in the soft credit box? E.g "Soft credit: Joe Blogs; John Smith" or Soft Credit: Joe Blogs, John Smith"

You cannot Soft credit single contribution record to multiple contacts.
