Multilanguage Problem!
June 15, 2011, 01:51:45 am
Hi!

I'm building a multilanguage site where user should be able to edit their own contact data (which is stored in civicrm). Now I have made a profile and added it to Drupal's Edit Account screen. The problem is now that the tabs linking to the specific profile aren't following the selected language from Drupal. An even bigger problem is that not only the labels of the tabs refuse to translate, but also the link itself, rendering the Edit Account screen useless.

Are there any suggestions?

Thanks!

Global Settings > Localization : http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/admin/setting/localization?reset=1

There is "Inherit CMS Language" option. Are you using it?

Yes! Is there something else I could try?

Are you able to replicate this on http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org, if yes then please file an issue for this in issue tracker.

Thanks

No, I don't have the necessary permission to make changes in the drupal frontend.

Why do you need to change drupal frontend. Please give detailed steps to replicate this issue.

Because I needed to add some other languages to Drupal.

1) Set up languages
2) Add and translate some profiles which are linked to the drupal user edit screen
