Not all CiviCRM activity types appear in Drupal Views
June 15, 2011, 06:56:46 am
On a client's site using Drupal 6.x and CiviCRM 3.3.5 we have integration with Drupal Views working, for the most part. I've noticed, however, that not all the CiviCRM activity types are showing up in the list when I'm creating a View. It doesn't appear to be Views-specific since the same problem appears in Webform CiviCRM integration module. I first noticed it when trying to create a view to show all activities of type "petition" and saw that actually a lot of activity types are missing.

Is this problem beyond just this installation? Just specific to 3.3.5? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I can confirm that after creating a custom activity type, that it shows up in the View. But it is still not displaying lots of other ones. I believe that the common element is that the no-shows are created automatically by CiviCRM components (but not all automatic ones are no-shows).

The webform_civicrm module ignores "reserved" activity types on purpose, since use by anyone other than the component they are reserved for is bound to cause problems.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.
