Future in Joomla 1.7

So the new version of Joomla... 1.7 is due within a month.  Does anyone know what civi looks like as far as integration with 1.7?  I am going to start playing with the beta version and civi 4.0.3 and see what happens...

Currently there are no plans to support Joomla 1.7. We usually start considering support once it's stable.

The public line from Joomla is that upgrade from 1.6.3 to 1.7 is expected to be no more traumatic than from 1.6.1 to 1.6.3, and that the numbering is as much to do with their new 6 month cycle as with any step change in funtionality or structure.

Hopefully Civi v4 will just keep working with 1.7 much as with 1.6.
